A plein air painter of New York City, Patricia Melvin has been painting landscapes for the past twenty-five years. Primarily self-taught, she studied with Gabriel Laderman and Robert Beverly Hale at the Art Students' League, and with Martin Pajeck. She also studied in Paris and Amsterdam, where she did her first plein air painting.
